I graduated from MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in June 2019 + am a member of the Massage Therapist Association of Saskatchewan (MTAS).
I believe in treating your chief complaint by creating a safe + effective treatment plan that is individual to your body’s physical + mental needs.
I believe that the body, mind + soul have an amazing ability to heal itself. And I believe that they are all connected.
I believe in the importance of continuing education + a thorough understanding of the body’s anatomy + physiology. Discovering the root cause of your discomfort or condition within my scope of practice, as well as through the referral of other health practitioners is a key component in my practice.
I allow sufficient time in between clients to ensure for the most effective treatment possible + to allow for a relaxed session for you.
Thank you for inviting me on your journey + allowing me to help your body heal itself!
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain + dysfunction, as wells as improve whole-body health + performance.
Using a soft touch, practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease.
What to expect from a CST Session
A CST session is similar to massage therapy, except you are fully clothed.
The treatment session begins with an assessment to identify your chief complaint. Soft music + low lighting are often used to increase your state of relaxation.
The therapist uses gentle pressure techniques to assess the existence of possible disruptions or restrictions in your fascial system. Light touch + fascial release may help your muscles + organs naturally relieve stress, which improves function. Clients often report feeling a sense of deep relaxation.
Migraines + Headaches
Chronic Ear Infection
Autism Spectrum + Sensory Processing Disorders
Temporomandibular Joint Disorder
